Right, I have a confession to make. My current daily bag is a very old overused Urban Outfitters Corduroy bag. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely and extremely practical bag. It can fit a lot in and there’s no fuss to it – just throw my items in my bag, launch it on my shoulder and bada bing bada boom, I’m out the door. However, I started to feel as though I was being too comfortable in only using that as my bag. I wasn’t being courageous, exploring the ‘unknown world’ of different pretty and cute bags. Whilst I do have a few fun mini bags and clutches that I wear for special occasions, I thought it was time to finally refresh my daily bag collection. To do so, I’ve started off by purchasing this stunning deep green mini tote bag with shiny gold accents!
Fun fact: I saw this bag in two different stores, the Dune London store and John Lewis, and both times I picked it up telling myself I couldn’t possibly get it. But of course, I went back to it at the end of the shopping day and couldn’t resist it! It is the most perfect shade of deep crisp forest green, and has been made to look even better with the stunning gold. A very classy and neatly structured bag, which I will admit is a big difference to my cluttered flimsy and all over the place fabric bag.

The core items of my everyday bag consists of six items: my purse, hand sanitizer, hand cream, vaseline, lip gloss, and a hefty portable charger. All of my items fit well inside the bag, however there is not room for much else. Although I think this is a lovely bag for daily use, I will not be using it to replace my beloved UO Tote Bag. I do like roomy bags, but the convenience in a small practical bag cannot be overlooked. Here is a handy size comparison visual:
With three dividers in the bag, and hidden side pockets, a reasonable amount can be fitted in without looking too clunky, unorganised and nothing overspilling! It has a combination of zips and magnetic closures which is very convenient for getting something out quickly.
Dune London have amazing bags, and this is only the first of many. Affordable yet crafted to be durable and very sturdy. Longevity is an important quality that should not be overlooked when it comes to shopping.
